I came to Santa Marta years ago and found a city full of beauty—and also in need of repair. The same could be said of my apartment when I first walked through its door: hinges broken, paint cracked, wood eaten away. With time and work, it’s becoming something worth living in.
This site is about that same journey on a larger scale. Bit by bit, I’ll share my own projects—restoring, carving, building—and alongside them, ideas for how Santa Marta itself could grow stronger. A bridge reimagined. A riverfront turned into a park. A different future for this corner of the Caribbean.
It’s not a finished vision. Just a diary of work, hope, and possibility.
